Well well well. After being sick for some time I finally recovered and got my groove back! Since last update, I’ve edited chapters 20-23 of Salandrine and have up to 16 available on betabooks. Chapter 24 has been outlined and is ready to be written! Things are getting more excited between our heroin and her love interest and a lot of good things are happening for Salandrine in general. I’m getting more into magical engineering and allowing some much-needed character growth so the heroin’s ready to deal with what’s waiting for them in the third ACT.

Salandrine’s total wordcount for the 23 chapters is now 40.325 words!

Aside from Salandrine I’ve also been busy outlining a new short story with the working title “Siren”. It’ll be a dark fantasy set in the same universe as Salandrine, but with a more cyberpunky setting. Between outlining and working on my main project, I’m also close to finishing “Chaos Witch”, my silly fantasy story lead with ADHD and Autistic main characters, and revising an old fic called “Painted” (also working title).
